Farmers in the Lugansk People’s Republic have leased 169 pieces of equipment through the Rosagroleasing company since the beginning of this year, said Rosagroleasing Director General Pavel Kosov.     Representatives of the LPR agricultural sector met at the the Lugansk State Agrarian University to sum up the results of work in 2023 and consider plans for 2024, the LPR Agriculture and Food Ministry press service reported.
 “This year, Rosagroleasing supplied 169 pieces of equipment to farmers,” Kosov said, adding that the company would expand the range of equipment provided on easy terms.
Representatives of leading agricultural machinery manufacturers who took part in the meeting presented their newest models and noted that they were paying great attention to the launching of maintenance centers in the Republic.   LPR Agriculture and Food Minister Yevgeny Sorokin said that fast renewal of agricultural machinery would facilitate the development of the agricultural sector and that easy term leasing programs were an important state support instrument. In early July, Rosagroleasing supplied the first batch of agricultural equipment to LPR farmers, 104 pieces overall. *i
