The Emergency Sanitary and Anti-Epidemic Commission of the Lugansk People’s Republic government has ordered to suspend marriage registration ceremonies and change notaries’ routine due to the worsening COVID-19 situation, the government press service reported.
The Justice Ministry will temporarily limit the number of visitors to notary’s offices to five per day and suspend mobile notary services. It will also suspend all marriage registration ceremonies, the press service said.
The World Health Organization called the COVID-19 coronavirus infection a pandemic caused by a novel coronavirus. The first coronavirus infection cases were recorded in China in late 2019. The number of coronavirus contacts across the world has exceeded 237.3 million by now; of those, over 4.8 million people died, according to the World Health Organisation. The LPR confirmed 14,989 COVID-19 cases.
To prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection, the LPR authorities put the Republic on high alert and introduced lockdown measures. *i*s
