Specialists of the Luganskgaz state-run utility have restored gas supply to 20 settlements in the Severodonetsk area, company Director General Tatyana Bogorodko told the Lugansk Media Center.
“We’ve paid much attention to and controlled repairs in the most war-torn settlements,” Bogorodko said adding that gas supply had also resumed to the towns of Zolotoye and Gorskoye and the Karbonit settlement.
The repairs helped the residents of the liberated areas to have a more comfortable life in the winter, she said.
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. The peace talks failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.
