The Lugansk People’s Republic Infrastructure and Transport Ministry has issued a passenger transportation licence to the first economy entity in the territory liberated from Kiev forces. The licence was issued to businessman Vadim Shipovsky from the Novoaidarsky district who owns five buses and plans to launch a route between the Raigorodka township and Lugansk. “It’s important for people; I hope there’ll be many passengers,” the businessman said. “The route had operated before 2014 for a large passenger flow. People ask about Lugansk trip options every day.  Nearly all drivers have stayed and are ready to work.” Head of the Infrastructure and Transport Ministry Permits Sector Olga Nikolenko said that the businessman had provided the required documents and that his license had been prepared within five days. “The Ministry checked the applicant for compliance with LPR licensing laws. The Permits Sector then drew the license and vehicle record cards,” Nikolenko said. The Ministry is currently processing some ten applications from businessmen in LPR liberated areas, she said adding that it consults transport operators on obtaining a license. Earlier, the LPR Infrastructure and Transport Ministry invited transport companies from liberated areas to cooperate. On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a special military operation to protect Donbass residents from Ukrainian aggression. Earlier, LPR and DPR Heads Leonid Pasechnik and Denis Pushilin asked the Russian leader to provide military assistance. As of now, some 80 percent of the LPR territory has been liberated. The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks participants have announced ceasefire more than 20 times since the autumn of 2014. Kiev forces regularly violated the truce opening fire with large caliber artillery, mortars and tank guns which were to have been withdrawn from the contact line under the accords. *i*t
