The Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives (PFKI) has donated more than 2,000 pieces of equipment to cultural institutions and children’s art schools in the Lugansk People’s Republic over a month, the LPR Culture Ministry reported citing the Lugansk Visual Arts Center.
“Twenty-five LPR museums received 235 computers, while community centers and clubs got 870 notebooks, 437 printers and 433 professional monitors. Thirty-five children’s art schools received 73 computer workstations and 64 acoustic pianos. Libraries received 65 split air conditioning systems, the Ministry said.
The Lugansk Culture Palace received a LED display, video cameras, computer equipment, light and stage equipment and furniture. The Lugansk Folk Craft Center was equipped with computers, photographic equipment, uninterrupted power sources, a screen projection unit and TV sets. A LED display was delivered to the Lugansk State Academy of Culture and Arts.
The PFKI concluded more than 150 renovation contracts with LPR culture centers.
LPR Culture Minister Dmitry Sidorov said that more than 1,100 cultural institutions across the LRP would be equipped as part of the national project “Culture” implemented by the Russian Culture Ministry and the PFKI and the “Smaller Motherland” project of the United Russia political party.*i*sb
