Residents of the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics can post their proposals on improving life in Donbass on a special online platform launched by the “United Russia” (ER) party, the ER press service reported.
The Vozrodimdonbass.rf website can be accessed through the government services portal. Residents can vote for the initiatives displayed by an interactive map, the press service said. “The ER’s People’s Program applied to the new regions has become an important part of Donbass’ integration in the Russian socio-economic reality,” said Darya Lantratova, LPR representative in the Federation Council upper house of the Russian parliament. “We observe an active revival of our Republics. It’s important to hear Donbass residents’ opinions about the measures that might make life in this situation more comfortable,” said FC member for the DPR Natalia Nikonorova. The accepted initiatives will be included in the regional section of the ER’s People’s Program, the party’s press service said. People’s Program is the ER program document with which it ran in the parliamentary, regional and municipal elections. It is based on “instructions” from citizens which party candidates receive during meetings with voters. In late May, the program added the sections on “Development of New Territories” and “Domestic Tourism.” *i*ie
