Chain stores from the Rostov and Voronezh regions will start operation in the Lugansk People’s Republic, LPR Deputy Industry and Trade Minister Ivan Leonov told the Lugansk Media Center.
“We’re looking for facilities to accommodate them; they are coming to our territory to stabilize prices,” Leonov said.
New supermarkets and construction materials shops will open in the Republic. Lugansk and Severodonetsk might become the first towns where they will start operation, he said.
LPR Industry and Trade Minister Timur Samatov earlier said that the Ministry was ready to cooperate with large chain stores in launching megamarkets in the LPR territory.*i
