A humanitarian aid convoy of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry (EMERCOM) has delivered 350 tons of foodstuffs for residents of the Severodonetsk district, the Lugansk People’s Republic Emergencies Ministry press service reported.
“On March 6, an EMERCOM convoy delivered relief supplies for Donbass residents to the LPR capital,” the Ministry said. “Thirty-two EMERCOM trucks with a load of food massing some 350 tons immediately left for Severodonetsk, Rubezhnoye and Lisichansk.”
On March 1, EMERCOM delivered 142 tons of pasta and buckwheat to the LPR.
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.
The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum. *i*ie
