20 homes in Stakhanov damaged by Kiev artillery strikes - LPR militia
More than 20 houses in Stakhanov have been damaged in Ukrainian artillery attacks, Lieutenant-Colonel Andrey Marochko of the Lugansk People’s Republic militia said.
Kiev forces fired ten missiles at Stakhanov at 03:00 on Thursday using an American high mobility artillery rocket system.
“More than 20 single-family and apartment houses were damaged as Stakhanov was shelled,” Marochko wrote on Telegram.
Emergency services are implementing damage control measures and police and the LPR Office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes are working at the scene, he said.
“No civilian casualties have been reported,” Marochko said.
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.
The Lugansk People’s Republic became a part of Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*v
