Some 300 children from the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics received treatment in Moscow hospitals last year, the Moscow Health Department said.    “City medical institutions provide medical assistance to children from the LPR and DPR,” the Health Department said. “In 2022, some 300 children from the Republics received treatment in Moscow in-patient hospitals.”   In case of serious injuries, the first aid to the child is provided by Moscow doctors who work in the new regions. The patient then is transported by car or plane to Moscow for further treatment and rehabilitation, the Department said.   The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*v
