Nearly 45,000 LPR residents have left the Republic since February 18, the Territorial Defence HQ said.
"From 7 p.m. February 18 until 6 p.m. February 21, the total of 44,950 people crossed the border with Russia, including 11,144 children."
The evacuation is facilitated by 219 buses and two trains.
Earlier Pasechnik signed a decree on mandatary mobilization of males aged 18-55. Everyone who is eligible for military service must register at mobilization centres.
The LPR Military Commissar Col. Andrey Gubanov said that as of February 19, 1 p.m. nearly three thousand people turned up after the decree was published. *t
