More than 450 residents of the town of Popasnaya, Kamyshevka township and Alexandropolye and Viktorovka villages have received food kits from Russia’s Federal Agency for State Reserves (Gosrezerv), Pervomaisk mayor Sergey Kolyagin said.
“Activists have distributed humanitarian aid among the residents of Popasnaya and the district settlements of Viktorovka, Alexandropolye and Kamyshevakha,” Kolyagin wrote on Telegram. “Over two weeks, all the citizens living there (more than 450 people) received food kits; the humanitarian cargo massed nearly four tons.”
The charity foundation “We Are Together” passed ice-creams and New Year sweet boxes to Popasnaya district children from a sponsor in the Kaluga region.
“At present, volunteers are completing food distribution to residents of the town of Gorskoye; we plan to deliver relief supplies to the town of Zolotoye and the villages of Troitskoye and Novozvanovka in the nearest future,” Kolyagin said. He thanked the volunteers for their efforts and LPR militiamen for helping deliver the foodstuffs.
Earlier, residents of the Alexandrovka and Viktorovka villages received power generators and ovens to maintain the operation of charging points. Gosrezerv LPR and the Kaluga region passed another batch of food to the Kamyshevakha residents.
