The Avtodor state-owned company is repairing 83 kilometers of the road from the Rostov region to Lugansk, with plans to reconstruct some 300 kilometers of highways in the Lugansk People’s Republic next year, said Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.
“Repairs will also run on the stretch bypassing Lugansk up to the intersection with P-150 which links Belgorod, Starobelsk, Lugansk, Donetsk and Mariupol,” Khusnullin wrote on Telegram.
Accelerated pace of repairs will facilitate the development of the regional and federal road network and its integration it in the country’s transport and logistics framework, the government press service said.
LPR Deputy Prime Minister Yelena Kostenko earlier said that more than 1,000 kilometers of roads would be restored in the Republic in 2023.*i
