Apartment and office buildings, a clothing factory and an outpatient hospital in the town of Bryanka have been damaged in shelling by Kiev forces, said the Lugansk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine's war crimes (JCCC).
Kiev forces fired a U.S.-made high mobility artillery rocket system at the center of Bryanka at 19:40 on March 14. A taxi driver was seriously wounded in the strike, the JCCC reported.
“The strike delivered at central Bryanka with an M142 HIMARS (the enemy fired two M30А1 GMLRS fragmentation missiles) <...> damaged seven apartment buildings, six office buildings, the ”Bryankovchanka” clothing factory, the outpatient hospital and retail outlets,” the report said.
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.
The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum. *i*ie
