Construction of the first 54-unit building in an Alchevsk neighborhood has been finished, town administration head Albert Apshev told the Lugansk Media Center.
“They've put up an apartment building in this neighborhood, but it has not been put in service yet,” Apshev said. “A commission will decide if the it meets the new requirements and standards. The procedure will take about two weeks.”
Town Hall then will make decisions on tenants who will move in new apartment units, he added.
The apartments are finished, with interior doors, bathroom equipment and stretch ceilings. The developers try to reduce the future owners’ costs on improving their living space, the mayor said.
There is a parking lot in the house yard, a children’s playground and a sport zone with injury-preventing floor.
Three houses of the new Alchevsk neighborhood will comprise 144 apartments with living space areas from 46.5 square meters to 100.5 square meters. The project is being implemented by the state-owned company “Single Customer in the Field of Construction.” *i*sb
