A psychological and legal counselling center for special military operation (SVO) participants has been launched in Lugansk, said Lugansk People’s Republic Head Leonid Pasechnik.
“We continue working on one of the most pressing issues, i.e. comprehensive assistance to our guys who defend Donbass,” Pasechnik said on Telegram.
The Center will closely cooperate with the Lugansk branch of the Defenders of the Fatherland Fund, the regional coordination headquarters of the Committee of Families of Fatherland Warriors and the “Donbass: Psychology of Life” project, he said.
The LPR authorities promised assistance to all war veterans, discharged servicemen and relatives of killed fighters. The Center will use state-of-the-art domestic technology and equipment and a unique drug-free method for effective rehabilitation.
“That’s the least we can do for the heroes who defend our native land,” Pasechnik said.

The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. The peace talks failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.
President Vladimir Putin announced a special military operation on February 24, 2022 to protect Donbass residents from Ukrainian aggression. Prior to that, LPR and DPR Heads Leonid Pasechnik and Denis Pushilin asked the Russian leader to provide military assistance. The LPR militia and Russian armed forces fully liberated the LPR territory from Ukrainian armed formations on July 3, 2022. *i
