Central Lugansk explosion victim dies - Pasechnik
The young man who was wounded in the explosion in central Lugansk last week has died, said Lugansk People’s Republic Acting Head Leonid Pasechnik.
Eight people including LPR Acting Interior Minister Igor Kornet were wounded in the terrorist attack in central Lugansk on May 15.
“Regrettably, the 27-year-old man who sustained serious injuries in the central Lugansk blast has died,” Pasechnik wrote on Telegram. “I convey my heartfelt condolences to his family.”
The patient could be taken to federal hospitals due to his critical condition. “Lugansk medics did their best, but the wounds were fatal,” he said.
LPR Healthcare Minister Natalia Pashchenko earlier said that Acting Interior Minister Igor Kornet had been taken to a Moscow hospital and that another seven people were receiving treatment in Lugansk hospitals.
