Child wounded in Kiev artillery strike at LPR settlement dies - Stakhanov mayor
The 10-year-old child wounded in a Ukrainian artillery attack on the settlement of Almaznaya in the Lugansk People's Republic has died in hospital without regaining consciousness; the civilian death toll has risen to four, said head of the Stakhanov town administration Sergey Zhevlakov.
On May 28, Ukrainian armed formations fired three high mobility artillery rocket system missiles at Alamaznaya, a satellite settlement of Stakhanov, killing three civilians and wounding another seven including a child. One house was ruined, and seven single-family homes, a gas pipe and a power line were damaged.
“To our deepest regret, sad news has come from Lugansk. The ten-year-old Daniil who was critically wounded in the artillery attack on Almaznaya by Ukrainian armed formations, has died in the Republican hospital without regaining consciousness on Friday morning,” Zhevlakov wrote on Telegram. “When children get killed, it’s not just terrible and painful, it’s heart-breaking. My sincere condolences to the boy’s parents.”
