The Lugansk People’s Republic Prosecutor General’s Office helped 463 Ukrainian army aggression victims in the Republic draw complaints to the European Court of Human Rights in 2021, acting LPR Deputy Prosecutor General Roman Gubaidulin said at a PGO panel meeting.
Consultations were provided to 463 citizens; 185 complaints to the ECHR were prepared,” Gubaidulin said.
Earlier, he said that the PGO had filed 89 criminal cases over strikes by Kiev forces at LPR areas.
LPR Prosecutor General’s Office spokeswoman Inna Semyonova said that as of August 2021, the PGO had helped Ukrainian army aggression victims draw 895 complaints to the European Court of Human Rights.
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. Conflict settlement relies on the Package of Measures for the Implementation of the Minsk Agreements, signed on February 12, 2015 in the Belarussian capital by the Contact Group members and coordinated by the Normandy Four heads of states (Russia, Germany, France and Ukraine).
