More than 20 children from Severodonetsk, Kremennaya and some other frontline settlements in the Lugansk People’s Republic have left for treatment and rehabilitation at a health resort in the Moscow region, LPR activist Rodion Miroshnik said in a post on Telegram.
“Twenty-three children and 17 mothers will take a rehabilitation course at the Klyazma health resort of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency in Pushkino, Moscow region,” Miroshnik said. “Thanks to the humanitarian assistance project and FMBA administration, children and their mothers will spend 21 days under medical supervision, undergo diagnostic tests and take individual rehabilitation and treatment courses. They will get consultations from doctors, psychologists and rehabilitation specialists.”
“For a majority of children who have left for Klyazma, the war and whatever has to do with it have become an inevitable part of their life. It cannot but have an impact of the children’s health and mental state. They need professional help, care and support,” he added.
It is the second group of children who come to Klyazma as part of the FMBA’s action and the humanitarian project.
The first group of mothers and children from Gorlovka have already completed a course of treatment and returned home. The project envisions rehabilitation and health improvement for 100 people from frontline areas of the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics. “In May, we plan a trip for a similar group of children from the DPR,” Miroshnik said.
The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*v
