The Lugansk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine's war crimes (JCCC) has confirmed the death of 11 civilians in Ukrainian artillery fire at the Lantratovka village in the LPR’s Troitskoye district.   “Ukrainian forces fired three missiles from an American high-mobility artillery rocket system at Lantratovka at 04:10 on December 16. The earliest reports said that eight people had been killed and another 23 had been wounded. Subsequent reports citing an emergency service source said that 11 people had been killed and that another 20 were unaccounted for.   “Eleven civilians were killed and 17 were wounded as the enemy fired three M31 GMLRS missiles from an American M142 HIMARS at Lantratovka,” the JCCC said on Telegram.   The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.   The Lugansk People’s Republic became a part of Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*ie
