More than 10 people have been injured, including four children after Kiev forces attacked Alchevsk on Saturday evening, the mayor Albert Apshev said.
"A direct hit to a multi-flat house. Blazes at the 8th and 9th floors. Preliminary, 10 people sustained injuries of various degrees, four of them kids, one child is at IC unit," he told Lugansk Media Centre.
A number of hits on residential houses have been reported across the town.
Ukraine has been carrying out a military crackdown against Donbass since 2014. Multiple announcements of ceasefires failed to stabilize the situation. The simmering armed conflict escalated rapidly in February this year, and sent Donbass barrelling towards an unprecedented bloodshed.
