Kiev forces damage or destroy six homes, 18 infrastructure facilities in LPR over week - JCCC
Six homes and 18 infrastructure facilities in the Lugansk People’s Republic have been damaged or destroyed in Ukrainian artillery attacks over the past week, said the LPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC).
“(Over the past week), Ukrainian forces damaged or destroyed six houses and 18 civil infrastructure facilities including two medical centers,” the JCCC said.
In February, Kiev army units damaged or destroyed 52 homes and ten infrastructure facilities in artillery attacks on the LPR.
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.
The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*v
