Krasnoyarsk Territory rebuilds 51 social infrastructure facilities in LPR’s Sverdlovsk district in 2022
Specialists from the Krasnoyarsk Territory restored 51 social infrastructure facilities in the Sverdlovsk district of the Lugansk People’s Republic last year, the regional governor‘s press service reported.
“Seven schools, two hospitals, a kindergarten, a sport school and 40 apartment buildings are on the list.<...> The contractors had restored all the facilities by December 2022, Russia’s TASS news agency quoted a press service representative as saying.
To carry out the repairs, 60 trucks delivered more than 1,200 tons of construction materials to the LPR, the press service said. The Krasnoyarsk Territory passed to Sverdlovsk garbage trucks, KamAZ chassis vehicles, school buses and fire-fighting and maintenance equipment.
Local schools received state symbols, textbooks, notebooks, printers, electric stoves and cabinet ovens for food units. The region helped organize summer recreation for LPR children and treatment of Sverdlovsk servicemen in a regional hospital. Krasnoyarsk medics worked in the Republic.
The press service representative said that the Krasnoyarsk Territory governor had ordered to renovate the Sverdlov Culture Center to accommodate a modern library and a youth center. In 2023, it is planned to rebuild more than 100 homes and social infrastructure facilities in the district.
Sverdlovsk and the Krasnoyarsk Territory concluded a cooperation agreement on July 4, 2022. The document was signed by head of Sverdovsk and Sverdlovsk district Andrey Sukhachyov and Krasnoyarsk Territory governor Alexander Us.
The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*v
