LPR has restricted access to Facebook and Instagram, the Ministry of Telecommunications said.
"Telecom operators have begun blocking prohibited information that poses a threat. In particular, access to the information resources of the American company Meta has already been blocked, as their social media platforms allowed calls for violence against Russian-speaking users,” the statement says.
Russia has earlier banned both platforms as they had been put on the extremists organizations list. *t
