The Lugansk People’s Republic has become a full-fledged player in Russia’s economic arena, LPR parliament speaker Denis Miroshnichenko said in the course of the enlightenment marathon of the Russian Knowledge Society in Lugansk.
“There was an economic blockade by the former country (Ukraine) in the past,” Miroshnichenko said. “Consequently, we reoriented our economy, domestic economy to work with the Russian Federation. <...> Today, we have the unique opportunity, as a constituent entity of the Russian Federation to be a full-fledged player in the economic arena in order to develop our economy and the whole country in general.”
The LPR’s economic development was constrained by the Minsk process, but it has got a new impulse now, he said. Miroshnichenko urged the young people to boldly realize their ideas towards the development of the Republic’s potential.
