Engineers of the Lugansk Railways are constructing a railway line connecting the Starobelskiy Grain Elevator Enterprise with the railway network of the LPR, Lugansk Media Center correspondent reports.
Farmers from the northern regions of the LPR store wheat, barley, corn, and sunflower seeds at the elevator. Previously, agricultural products were shipped by road.
Specialists now plan to complete the main part of the construction this week. Building materials were partially provided by the state Republican Fuel Company Vostokugol.
"This repair will allow us to increase the volume of shipment of products, create jobs, contribute to the budget of the city. Now shipments will be done in railroad cars, the turnover will increase if there is a railway," said Yury Krutko, director of the Starobelsky Grain Elevator Enterprise. *t
