Lugansk People’s Republic enterprises have the opportunity to use federal measures of state support, the LPR government press service reported referring to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
“After the LPR’s accession to the Russian Federation, regional enterprises got a number of advantages such as state support measures. They can now compensate the costs of building industrial infrastructure and apply for an easy-term loan from the Federal Industry Development Fund,” the press service said.
Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Alexey Besprozvannykh said that LPR companies could be funded from the Industry Development Fund at a ratio of 10 to 90 where “10 percent is regional money, and 90 percent is Russian Federation money.” He also said that the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade would allocate one billion rubles for 20 projects in the Lugansk People’s Republic which would create new jobs.
The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*ie
