All school starters in the Lugansk People’s Republic will get essential study kits by the beginning of the schoolyear on September 1, Russia’s Children and Youth movement (RDDM) told the Lugansk Media Center.   “School kits will be provided to more than 29,000 first-years of the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions and the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics,” the RDDM said. “The action is supported by the Russian Education Ministry, Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, non-profit organization “Russia is Land of Opportunities”and “Knowledge” Society.   Every child will get a diary, a full office kit, a school shoe bag, hardcover exercise books, a sticker series, a pencil box and unique edition of graphic novels about special military operation (SVO) heroes.   “We are aware of the problems encountered by parents whose children are starting school in the new regions. That is why we decided to support them by providing special school kits,” RDDM Board Chairman Grigory Gurov said.   Russian Knowledge Society Director General Maxim Dreval said that “the graphic novels about SVO heroes are the most comfortable form of important information about courageous people who must become the moral compass for our young compatriots.”   ***   The Movement of the First is a youth movement in Russia created on December 18, 2022 at the initiative of the country's leadership to educate, organize leisure activities for teenagers and form a worldview based on traditional Russian spiritual and moral goals. The RDDM will open its offices in each Russian region and municipality.   The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*v
