The Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecological Safety is warning against going to forests because of high level of wildfire hazard.
"With the purpose of preventing forest fires since dry weather has established and the highest level of wildfire hazard, the Ministry restrict access to forests and coniferous forests by foot or by vehicles from July 28, the restrictions apply for the period of 21 days.
Violations of the imposed restrictions are punishable by fines up to 3,000 roubles for individuals, 10,000 roubles for officials, and 100,000 for legal entities.
There are five fire danger levels: very low, low, moderate, high and very high.
The LPR Emergencies Ministry reminded that making fires in forests and steppes was prohibited during the fire hazard period. Leaving glass bottles or fragments in forest and steppe areas is also prohibited, as glass can act as a magnifying lens to start a fire. *t
