The Lugansk People’s Republic has reached 90 percent of the road repair target, LPR Acting Head Leonid Pasechnik told the Russia 24 new channel.
“We planned to repair more than 400 kilometers of roads this year; 90 percent of work has been completed,” Pasechnik said.
Specialists from Russian sponsor regions will help the LPR repair more than 215 kilometers of roads in 11 towns and districts, he said.
The repairs on the roads from Lugansk to Schastye, Stanitsa Luganskaya, Azarovka and Orekhovka, and the Mikhailovka-Perevalsk and Krasnaya Talovka-Shirokoye roads are funded from the federal budget, the LPR leader said.
The Russian regions which help the Lugansk People’s Republic restore its civil infrastructure are currently implementing more than 1,600 rebuilding projects. *i*ie
