Pharmacies of the Lugmedfarm company have begun to provide medications to patients with serious diseases, the press service of the regional Healthcare Ministry reported.
“Pharmaceutical benefits are being provided to patients with serious diseases for the first time in the Republic,” the press service said. “From October through December, Lugmedfarm will supply medications and health food to welfare beneficiaries.<...> The medicine procurements were funded by the regional budget.”
The drugs are provided on doctor’s prescription at the nearest hospital pharmacy. The first diabetic, gastrointestinal and cancer patients have already received medications. *i*sb
