The Lugansk People’s Republic Agriculture and Food Ministry has requested financial assistance to agribusinesses in connection with the special military operation, said LPR Agriculture and Food Minister Yevgeny Sorokin.
“We’ve asked the Russian Agriculture Ministry to compensate the costs related to the special military operation,” Sorokin said. “I believe the procedure will be worked out in the first two months of 2024,” Sorokin said.
LPR farmers will also enjoy other state support measures such as preferential loans and leasing, he said.*i
