Russian children and youths’ Movement of the First (RDDM) has opened almost 370 grassroot organizations in the Lugansk People’s Republic, said regional RDDM Council Chairman Ryal Aliyev.
“Grassroots have been launched at 342 education centers, 22 vocational colleges, one university, two supplementary education facilities and one youth center,” Aliyev said adding that the movement, assisted by parents and instructional coaches had 14,000 members in the LPR.
“Our objective is to involve young generations in regional and all-Russian events, arrange their trips to health and education centers and implement children’s initiatives at the grassroot level,” he said.
The RDDM set up its first primary organization in Lugansk in December 2022.

The "Movement of the First" is a youth movement in Russia created at the initiative of the country's leadership to educate, organize leisure activities for teenagers and form a worldview based on traditional spiritual and moral values.
The RDDM will open its branches in each Russian region and municipality.
The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*sb
