Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights Maria Lvov Belova said that a new benefit will be launched for children who were hurt as a result of hostilities during the special military operation.
“At the latest meeting, I asked the president for a special status for the children hurt in the course of the special military operation, who were not registered as persons with disabilities,” Lvova-Belova said at the Federation Council upper house of the Russian parliament.“
This group would include children who suffered some physical damage and convalesced later on, and began to lead a normal life. The president supported it; a presidential decree is being prepared, she said.
The lumpsum payment for children will be worth 100,000 rubles. Also, children are entitled to extra regional support measures, Lvova-Belova said.
She noted that the authorities had approved the dedicated budget expenditure.
