LUGANSK, February 13 (Lugansk Media Centre) – The number of large and medium industrial enterprises operating in Lugansk has grown by 4.1 times in four years, said the head of the Lugansk administration Manolis Pilavov.
"The number of large and medium industrial enterprises operating in the LPR has grown by 4.1 times in four years, currently there are 115 such enterprises."
He said a number of new companies were established in 2018, such as Lugansk Tobacco company, sunflower oil production line on the basis of the Lugansk-Niva company, fermented milk products production line on the basis of the Lugansk refrigeration plant, confectionary production line branded as "Family Tale" at the Lugansk meat-processing plant, chemical companies Max-khim and Vostokspetstrans-Resurs producing "Gloris" household chemicals based on a German technology, the A-Winner company manufacturing hydraulic hoses and hydraulic cylinders.
The Lugamash enetrprise has increased sales four times compared to 2017, Lokond – showed twice as much sales, Lugtsentrokuz – 1.4 times, Lugansk casting and mechanical plant – by 29 percent, Antei, the only LPR enterprise making legwear, - by 25 percent, Lugansk electric and mechanical plant – by 24 percent.
Exporting enterprises Marshall and Avtomotozapchast successfully operate in Lugansk.
Pilavov said that in 2018 investment implementation grew by 42 percent compared to 2017 and doubled compared to 2016.
