Secretary of the Lugansk regional branch of the all-Russia political party “United Russia”, LPR parliament speaker Denis Miroshnichenko and LPR representative in the Federation Council upper house of the Russian parliament Darya Lantratova met with activists of the Krasnodon and Sverdlovsk districts on Thursday to discuss the establishment of district UR branches.   The participants addressed the launching of UR district branches, the operation of the Party’s public reception office and local residents’ problems, Miroshnichenko said. “We record them for articulating at the federal level and finding quick solutions. I’m sure that the sincere dialogue we had today will yield results in the near future.”   “United Russia” is actively involved in rebuilding and developing Donbass, and the Party’s key task is to help people and facilitate interaction between government bodies and the population," Lantratova said.   “United Russia” had been working in Donbass long before its crucial historic unification with the big Russia. We now have to take the next steps towards arranging systemic work to develop all spheres of life. Of course, we'll have to carry out tremendous work, for example in integrating and harmonizing the legal environment," she added.   At the end of the meeting, membership cards were handed in to the Sverdlovsk and Krasnodon districts residents who wished to join “United Russia.” Earlier, Miroshnichenko held meetings over setting up local UR branches in Alchevsk, Perevalsk, Antratsit, Krasny Luch, Bryanka and Stakhanov.   “United Russia” set up its regional branch in the LPR on October 21, 2022. Deputy chairman of the Russian parliament committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots, United Russia’ deputy Viktor Vodolatsky announced the launching of reception rooms to work with residents of the region and the establishment of party supporters institution in the Republic. “United Russia” said that more than 22,000 people had joined the party by the time the LPR branch was established.   “United Russia” launched its public reception room in Lugansk on December 1 which marked the 21st anniversary of party establishment. The chairman of the regional branch was the first to hold reception of citizens.   The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*v
