One civilian killed, 14 wounded in Ukrainian artillery strike at Troitskoye - JCCC
One civilian has been killed and another 14 have been wounded in a Ukrainian artillery attack on the Troitskoye township, said the LPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC).
At 11:10 on Thursday, Kiev forces delivered a second strike the township using a US-made high-mobility artillery rocket system. Earlier reports said that one person had been wounded in the first attack and another six in the second attack.
“According to the information as of 13:30, the enemy fired two HIMARS missiles at Troitskoye killing one civilian and wounding 14, and damaging the township’s general hospital and a shop,” the JCCC said.
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.
