One person was wounded and more than 70 houses were damaged in the Kiev artillery strike at Stakhanov on December 15, the Lugansk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine's war crimes (JCCC) reported.   “Ukrainian forces fired ten M31 GMLRS missiles from an American M142 high mobility rocket system at Stakhanov at 03:00 on Thursday wounding one person and damaging 72 homes, three kindergartens, a school and more than 20 office, production and retail facilities,” the JCCC said.   Stakhanov came under HIMARS fire overnight to Friday again; as of now, no casualties or damage have been reported.   The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.   The Lugansk People’s Republic became a part of Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i
