Lugansk People’s Republic Acting Head Leonid Pasechnik has urged permanent comprehensive assistance to children who were hurt in Kiev aggression.
Fifty-eight children were killed and another 183 were wounded in the LPR during the armed conflict, Pasechnik said at a meeting with Olga Bas who represents the Republic in the Federation Council upper house of the Russian parliament.
“I gave one week to the local authorities to get information on each child’s location and living conditions and provide all kinds of assistance to them on a permanent basis,” Pasechnik wrote on Telegram.
They must help them with schoolyear preparations, medical treatment or rehabilitation, getting passport and applying to university. Volunteers and social and political organizations have to join this work, while deputies of all level can take these families under personal patronage, he said.
Pasechnik believes that the parliamentary commission on the investigation of Kiev regime crimes against minors had to revise financial support in case of child’s death or injury, and urged Bas to raise this issue at the Commission’s meeting.
