Russian companies helping LPR rebuild energy infrastructure
A number of Russian companies are providing assistance to the Lugansk People’s Republic in rebuilding its energy infrastructure, LPR Deputy Minister of Fuel, Energy and Coal Industry Andrey Kustov said at function in Lugansk on the occasion of Power Engineer Day.
“Separately, I would like to thank the companies “Rosseti,” Energoservis Yuga,” MES (Main Electric Lines) Tsentra, MES Yuga, Energosetstroy, RusHydro and “Infrastructure Projects,” Kustov said. “They supplied materials and used their own resources to help us restore our energy infrastructure; they will work throughout the winter and continue to provide comprehensive assistance in the same way next year.”
The Republic also got invaluable assistance from the Russian Energy Ministry and several regions which sent specialists and materials to restore energy infrastructure, he added.
The Lugansk People’s Republic became a part of Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*v
