The Russian Education Ministry plans to launch the Zemsky Uchitel (County Teacher) program in the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics and the Zaporozhye region.
“The project that offers countryside teacher jobs is being successfully implemented across Russia,” Education Minister Sergy Kravtsov said in an interview with the Lugansk Media Center.
Some 5,000 teachjers have moved to rural areas since the project was launched, he said.
The Zemsky Uchitel program, implemented since 2020, encourages young specialists to move to rural areas with an installation grant of one million rubles (two million rubles for teachers from Far East regions).*i*sb
