The Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) has passed military supplies to Lugansk People’s Republic fighters on the frontline, the LPR People’s Militia press service reported.
“Military equipment and outfit quickly get out of order in the field and need regular replacement,” the militia said. “We get help from volunteer organizations, but Russian political parties are involved as well.”
“LDPR representatives and LPR parliamentarian Maxim Uvarov supported the 2nd Army Corps command, have delivered humanitarian cargo containing communication devices, unmanned aerial vehicles, roll mats and sleeping bags,” the press service said.
Uvarov said that the cargo includes the basic supplies for the military.
A 2nd Army Corps fighter who uses the call sign “Yeralash” thanked the LDPR for helping to fight the Nazis.

The militia’s 2nd Army Corps was recently included in the Russian armed forces. The colors presentation ceremony took place at the Southern Military District Headquarters in Rostov-on-Don on December 31, 2022.
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.
On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a special military operation to protect Donbass residents from Ukrainian aggression. Prior to that, LPR and DPR Heads Leonid Pasechnik and Denis Pushilin asked the Russian leader to provide military assistance. The LPR militia and Russian armed forces fully liberated the LPR territory from Ukrainian armed formations on July 3.
The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*v
