Russia’s Social Fund has granted retirement benefits under Russian laws to more than 350,000 residents of the Lugansk People’s Republic.
“Pensions have been recalculated under Russian norms for 351,600 LPR residents since March 1, 2023,” the Social Fund said in a press release.
The key documents for pension recalculation are a Russian passport with a note of residence registration or a residence registration certificate (for children up to 14 years of age).
The citizens whose pensions have increased in recalculation carried out before February 29, 2024, are eligible for pension supplement from the date on which the pension was granted. “No pension cuts are planned,” the Social Fund said.
