Specialists to restore 12 stretches of motorways in LPR
Specialists from Russian regions are restoring 12 stretches of motorways in the Lugansk People’s Republic, said the Russian Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.
“Repairs are currently underway on 12 stretches of roads with a total length of 352.8 kilometers,” the Ministry said adding that 13 bridges and overhead passes had already been restored.
Organizations from Moscow, the Volgograd, Leningrad, Orel and Ulyanovsk regions, the Stavropol territory and the Republics of Bashkortostan assigned about 600 specialists and 260 pieces of specialized vehicles to LPR road maintenance projects.
The specialists from the Ulyanovsk region have already completed 95 percent of works on the 13-kilometer stretch of the T-13-10 road between Volnukhino and Pervozvanovka.
Earlier, the LPR Infrastructure and Transport Ministry reported that contractor organizations planned to repair 410 kilometers of roads and 20 bridges and overhead passes in the LPR this year.
In 2022, more than 500 kilometers of roads were repaired in the Republic as part of the government program to restore road infrastructure.
The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*v
