Stakhanov Red Cross provides clothes to displaced Lisichansk family
The Red Cross Society of Stakhanov has helped to provide clothes to a family evacuated from Lisichansk, the Lugansk People’s Republic Red Cross Society press service reported.
“The LPR Red Cross Society continues to provide humanitarian aid to displaced persons across the Republic,” the press service said. “The Kiyashko family was among those who asked us to help. Valeria, her husband and children fled Lisichansk as it came under artillery fire without a chance to bring any warm clothes along.”
The family is living in Stakhanov now; Valeria and her husband are bringing up two children and are expecting their third child.
“Stakhanov’s Red Cross Society chairperson Svetlana Vikhrova helped Valeria to select clothes and footwear for her family,” the press service said.
Head of the LPR Red Cross Tatyana Sliva said that the organization was trying to provide varied assistance to displaced persons and the needy.

The LPR militia and Russian armed forces fully liberated the LPR territory from Ukrainian armed formations on July 3.
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.
