Today, Ukrainian armed formations made another sabotage attempt in the LPR People’s Militia responsibility zone. The Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group’s attempt to penetrate into the LPR territory was stopped. This is not about any offensive. After the unsuccessful sabotage attempt, Ukrainian gunmen opened artillery fire at the Republic’s territory. Shelling damage to civil infrastructure facilities was recorded and several settlements were left without electricity and water supply. LPR residents were hurt.
This treacherous act by Ukraine occurred on the date of ending of the Chernukhino-Debaltsevo operation marking the anniversary of the ignominious defeat of the Ukrainian army in 2015.
Renouncing all the accords, both the Minsk agreements and those reached at the “Normandy Four” summit in Paris, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky continues to issue orders to shell the territory of the Lugansk People’s Republic. The aggressive position of the official Kiev puts in doubt the coordination of the date of the next “Normandy Four” meeting.
I have to state that nothing has changed for the Donbass people. Vladimir Zelensky continues the fratricidal war begun by his predecessor Petr Poroshenko. I call upon the OSCE and the Minsk Agreements guarantor countries to exert influence on Ukraine in order to put an end to Kiev’s bloody provocations.
