Three homes were damaged in a Ukrainian artillery attack at Svatovо on Wednesday evening, said the Lugansk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC).
“Svatovo came under 155mm artillery attack; three homes were damaged,” the JCCC said adding that the enemy shelled the LPR territory once on December 28.
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.
The Lugansk People’s Republic became a part of Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*ie
