Three men seriously wounded in mine explosions in LPR over 24 hours
Three men have suffered serious injuries in mine explosions in the Lugansk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, the LPR Emergencies Ministry press service reported.
“On May 1, two men, aged 60 and 45 triggered an anti-personnel mine in the Bolshaya Vergunka settlement on the bank of the Seversky Donets river,” the press service said. “They were rushed to the Lugansk Republican Clinical Hospital with traumatic foot amputations.”
In another incident which occurred outside the Donetsky neighborhood in the Kirovsky district on Monday afternoon, a 38-year-old man was wounded in UXO explosion. He was admitted to the Kirovsk Central Hospital with traumatic foot amputation and blast injuries, the Ministry said citing a police report.
