An LPR defender has been killed as Ukrainian forces fired a Tochka-U missile on Lugansk, the spokesperson of the Republic's Prosecutor General's Office Inna Semyonova said.
"The debris fell on the Patriot Park territory (where the airport used to be), setting a fuel tanker and a tank-vehicle on fire, an LPR service members sustained wounds incompatible with life," she said.
According to Semyonova, the missile was launched from Severodonetsk.
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. Ceasefires were announced more than 20 times since the autumn of 2014. Kiev forces regularly violated the truce opening fire with large caliber artillery, mortars and tank guns which were to have been withdrawn from the contact line under the accords. *t
